I'd love to go to these types of events but they never seem to come to the NorthEast. We have a healthy gaming community up here but all the focus is always on California or the southern mid-west states like Texas.

Hopefully we'll see more events like this hit the Northeast. Maybe even NYC.

Will,

That secret product was and is today the Copperhead. A lot has been written about it since CPL Summer and we are not too patiently awaiting its arrival. Hopefully we can meet again and get you a test go at Copperhead and Quake 4 ... two of the best duos in town:)

You're right, it truly was a legendary event, it was really a BLAST, especially for my first big LAN Event. Meeting all the people there was awesome, the coverage was nothing short of spectacular, and the games once again, were not disappointing.

Honestly, I can see your point about Network Television, e-Sports is as far up there in quality as X-Games. In America, though, in my opinion we're dangerously close to getting exactly what you're describing, proof can be seen in the network cable channel known as G4. Granted, G4 is a horrible channel, but it proves we're not too far from getting e-Sports into the public mainstream.

I really had a great time, watching the CS and PK matches on the huge screen blew my mind. Meeting all the different people coming together to game was probably one of the greater aspects, however. People that mostly only know each other through text on a screen coming together to meet, greet, shake hands, and FRAG each other 'til the day ended. Robert (Razerguy) especially was a very sociable person, and it was a real pleasure getting aquainted with you, along with the awesome fun I had gaming at your booth, and buying a Plasma! (Thanks for the pizza, by the way, and even more thanks for giving me that loaner Salamander Diamondback to practice with that night so I could get used to it.)

You know...you never did show me that one product you said was under production...
