The first edition simply means its a First Edition, as in the first batch. Like first editions of a book, its prestige and desirable, like an athlete's rookie card.

question on the progress of drivers.

i have noticed a few things such as implementing the key funtion.
for example if i set side button to "F" and press down on it, it will not keep "F" held down even when i hold the button down.

I tried the 6.16 beta which address this. The problem is resolved, how ever a new problem occurs, which basically i cant Left click while im holding the side button down! Basically i cant shoot my weapon, when im priming my grenade lol!

Also will more macro features be implemented? IF would be nice to add "left click" into the macro. SO for starcraft for example, i can macro "1"+ "S" + left click" which basically does a hotkey comstat scan for me.

yay.. just got the Razer Copperhead first edition
i hope the First Edition doesnt mean “bugged”…
I saw one at the store that did not have the words First Edition on it... Is mine special?

Razerguy can you clarify the First edition mean?
will there be a second edition, etc that’ll be better than the 1st one?

thanks…

Just to add that i have removed and replaced the same feet on my mouse over 30 times to demonstrate the life of the feet. This has nothing to do with wear - only how reliable the sticky surfaces are.

Mike, I'll go ahead and answer that:

Just e-mail Razer's tech-support, I forgot the address, but you can find it, and give them your Mouse's model number, the serial number, tell them you want replacement teflon "feet" and give them your mailing address, and they'll send you a new set of them completely free of charge, that's how it happened with me at least, when I lost my back Diamondback pad after applying an LED mod to my mouse.

To razerguy:

I just bought a copperhead, i have a quick question about the duratability of the teflon feet. I was just checking out the mouse, and I noticed that the white teflon pads on the bottom of the mouse seems to wiggle. Im just wondering, if the teflon pads fall off, how can they be replaced? Thanks.

Guys, i have found that in order to get the 1000Hz respond rate, i used a usb clock thing from http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4469 , and to change the rate, restart and start into safe mode and open the hertz checker, run it and it will say change your USB clock speed to 250Hz? type N then it will ask about the 1000Hz polling rate. But mine does work at 1000+Hz. I have a problem with the buttons on the left side of the mouse, when i click the "forward" button it sometimes activates the "back" button at the same time which isn't too fun depending on what i have bound to that.
